Ti Aspetto Dietro L’angolo is both beautiful sculpture and captivating timepiece.  Quintessentially a hollow cage hand-formed from a length of folded red wire, this table clock aims to explore different spaces of the house by encouraging you to place it on a surface rather than mount on a wall.

The Italian phrase Antonino Sciortino used to name the clock, ‘Ti Aspetto Dietro L’angolo’, literally translates as ‘you wait behind the angle’.  This hints at Antonino’s aim for the viewer to consider the interaction between both the clock and your interior, and the unbreakable link between time & space.

Although predominately designed to rest on table or mantel, this Italian red wire clock can also be wall mounted and by doing so will cast a detailed shadow that echoes and exaggerates the criss-crossed mesh of wire that constitutes the body.
