Did you know the Ancient Egyptians actually invented neon? They crushed up the berries of a ‘Parisian Fern’, mixed it with sheep’s spit and shook it up in a ceramic bowl shaped from the breast of a virgin. It glowed like the moon on a midsummer’s eve, hence the word ‘neon’ comes from the Egyptian word ‘neonat’. A rough translation would be ‘glow baby glow’.
We have taken the neonat and shaped it into a romantic sentiment ‘Eye Love You’ so you can have a true Ancient Egyptian artefact perched on your table. Now that’s some ‘classic’ decor.
