Unusual Candles & Candle Holders

Funky Candle Holders for Every Interior Style

The shape, material, and silhouette of a candle holder changes how a room feels. Some pieces are subtle and functional. Others are designed to be noticed.

By material and style:

• Glass candle holders with clean geometry suit minimalist and contemporary interiors
• Hand-painted ceramic candleholders work well in boho and vintage home decor settings
• Antique metal candelabras and metal candlestick holders bring a formal, dramatic quality to dining table centrepieces
• Driftwood and figurine designs combine artistry with function, sitting comfortably as decorative ornaments even without a candle

Quirky Candle Holders as Statement Pieces

Unusual candlesticks and designer candle holders have enough presence to stand alone on a shelf or coffee table. A well-chosen quirky candle holder does the work of both a functional item and a decorative ornament without needing anything around it. If you are drawn to pieces with real character, the wider unique gifts collection is worth exploring alongside this range.

Unusual Tea Light Holders, Glass Votives & Small Candle Holders

Cosy Lighting for Smaller Spaces

Small candle holders in glass or ceramic add a cosy, flickering warmth to windowsills, bathroom shelves, and side tables without demanding much visual space. Options include glass votives, tealight candle holders, ceramic tea light holders, and compact lantern designs.

Grouping several unusual tea light holders together across a mantelpiece builds ambience gradually. A glass votive catches the flicker and scatters soft light across nearby surfaces. Fun candle holders and novelty tea light holders in quirky or unusual shapes suit informal rooms where a lighter, more playful tone fits the interior.

Unusual Candlesticks and Candle Holders

Creating Height and Structure

For taller arrangements, unusual candlesticks and candle stands create strong vertical focal points on sideboards and dining tables. Funky candlestick holders and quirky candle sticks range from single stems to multi-arm candelabras that hold several taper candles at once.

Pillar candle holders suit wider pillar candles and work best where you want a grounded, weighted presence rather than height. Combining a metal candlestick with a pillar candle holder creates contrast in both material and form, with one drawing the eye upward and the other anchoring the arrangement in colour and weight.

Scented Candles, Hand-Poured Pillar Candles & Funky Candles

Fragrance and Design in One

The candle range covers several distinct styles:

• Scented soy and coconut wax candles in decorative jars across warm woody, floral, fruity, and citrus fragrance blends
• Hand-poured pillar candles in swirled and marbled colour finishes that work as standalone home decor pieces
• Novelty shaped candles with distinctive forms designed as much for display as for burning
• Bold message gift candles in printed jars suited to birthdays, housewarmings, and personal treats

These funky candles serve as home decor and conversation pieces in equal measure. The jars and shapes are built to display well on shelves and coffee tables throughout their life. For something to complement a candle gift, the quirky keyrings collection offers a broad range of pieces that pair well across occasions.
